An RUFC Conversion
A Rugby Union Football Club was placed into compulsory liquidation. The club was a focal point of the local community and its impending demise little short of a disaster. We were appointed liquidator in succession to the Official Receiver.

Working with the Club's Trustees a plan was formulated to save the Club through a scheme of voluntary arrangement
(compulsory liquidation need not always inevitably lead to the business graveyard). With the assistance of its members and
support of its creditors, the voluntary arrangement was approved, creditors' compromised claims paid and life at the Club
returned to a normal, profitable existence, in a successful and seamless operation.
